Ministry Building & Growth
Program
An answer to
requests
As an answer to a common
request we've received over the last 10 years of our existence as Street
Bishops Ministries, we are not only starting an education program, but
are changing the way we accept potential ordination candidates.
The new program
Beginning February 10th,
2010, for an individual to be considered for ordination with Street
Bishops, they will need to have been a subscribing and participating
member in our Ministry Building & Growth Program for at least 60
days. This program will begin primarily as an online conference as an
open discussion and answer period once a week, or more often if it
appears that is necessary.
Program goals and
whom it is designed for
The goal is not only to
access the seriousness of an individuals desire to serve, but to start
them off with a passion to move forward to take action in the area of
service to which they believe God has called them. In addition, this
will provide existing ordained clergy with Street Bishops and
opportunity to also obtain ideas, strategies, and resources for growing
their own ministries. And finally, an opportunity for those who are not
ordained but wish to serve more proactively and knowledgeable in the
churches they attend or the community to take away ideas, skills, and
resources as well.
Topics
Some example topics to be
covered include:
- Starting a new
church
- Growing a church
with little or no money
- Harnessing the power
of the internet
- Outreach programs -
what works, what doesn't
- Legal liability,
counseling ethics, and other risk management

our responsibilities, do we need non profit status?

you are selling and why and breaking through.

How will the program
be delivered?
Rev. Lance Orndorff, the
the Executive Director and presiding Bishop of Street Bishops will be
the moderator of an online and recorded meeting. For those who have
video cameras, we will be able to see you, for those who can only call
in, we'll hear you. When documents are presented online, you'll see
them. When video clips are shown, you'll see and hear them. And for
those who miss the meeting, it can be made accessible to you for a
period of time on the web for review. The target length for each
workshop will be one hour, but if it continues on for a maximum of two
hours, then that will will do that.
